Help Oppose New IRS Reporting Provisions

The Credit Union National Association (CUNA) is looking to have support with opposing the controversial provision that would require financial institutions to turn over vast amounts of consumer account data to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Credit union advocacy has kept this policy out of early legislative drafts, but we need your continued help to keep this policy out of Congress’ reconciliation bill.

House leadership is doubling down on the unprecedented proposal so we and CUNA are asking for your help.

As a whole we are quickly approaching 500,000 messages calling on lawmakers to oppose this controversial provision. This is truly a grassroots effort. We are making a difference, but we can’t stop now. The next few weeks are critical.

We need to work together to keep this from becoming law.

To date, over 75 credit unions have engaged their members and employees to act.

Help keep your financial data safe from the IRS by taking action now.
