New & Used Vehicle Loans
Applying for a Gateway Metro Federal Credit Union vehicle loans is fast and easy – whether you want pre-approval before buying, or just want to transfer your loan from another lender. You can finance up to 125% of your car, truck, SUV, or van (125% financing subject to other qualifying conditions) and enjoy fixed rates with no pre-payment penalties. Plus, take up to 84 months to repay the loan. Talk about hassle-free!
If you prefer the wind in your hair, get a new or used motorcycle loan with us. You can finance up to 100% of your motorcycle and some borrowers can land terms up to 84 months. (84 month term eligibility depends on motorcycle year and loan amount)
Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP) Insurance
Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP) is an added protection for your vehicle in the event your vehicle is deemed a total loss. Your regular auto insurance may not always cover the full amount of your vehicle should a total loss occur which leaves you with a ‘GAP’ between what they cover and what you still owe to pay off your vehicle. With GAP insurance you get that added protection to give you peace of mind should a total loss event occur.
The GAP insurance you can purchase through Gateway Metro is often significantly cheaper than the GAP insurance you can purchase elsewhere. In addition, if you have to use the insurance and within 60 days, finance your replacement vehicle with Gateway Metro as well, we will reduce your new loan by $1,000!
Auto Deductible Reimbursement (ADR)
Our GAP includes ADR* (Auto Deductible Reimbursement) at NO additional charge to you!
What is ADR ? Auto deductible reimbursement aims to protect you from the financial burden of paying your auto insurance deductible after a claim is filed and paid by your primary auto insurance carrier.
You can be reimbursed up to $500 of your paid deductible 2 times per year for the first three years of your GAP policy!
*Any other car that is in your name AND included on your auto insurance policy is also covered under the ADR portion of your GAP policy!
Mechanical Breakdown Protection
Total Peace of Mind
How many times have you heard stories about cars breaking down right after the warranty expires? With Mechanical Breakdown Protection from Car Solutions, you can rest easy knowing you are covered. We have partner with Car Solutions to offer plans designed to provide you with “total peace of mind” so that unexpected repairs won’t strain your budget.
Most basic warranties (known as bumper to bumper) are only for the first 36 months and 36,000 miles. As the car ages the cost of repairs dramatically increase and once the basic warranty expires, without an extended warranty, the unexpected repair costs could be in the thousands of dollars. Car Solutions’ plans extend coverage to virtually all mechanical and electrical components of your vehicle. They are available for both new and pre-owned vehicles, and have benefits that extend beyond the cost of repairs.

Applicants may borrow between $2,000 and $120,000 (for undergraduates) or $160,000 (for graduates) per year and use the funds for qualified expenses, such as tuition, room and board, books, computers and more. In addition to paying competitive rates with opportunities for rate reductions, borrowers can also avoid pre-payment penalties and origination fees.

Members with checking and direct deposit at the credit union enjoy rates as low as 12.90% APR*; otherwise, rates are as low as 13.90% APR*. In addition, we’ve made it even more convenient by allowing you 48 months to repay the loan.
Signature/Personal Loans
